Thermal Sensor

I am looking for a non contact thermal sensor to "look" at the brakes on 
a vehicle and return an approximate temperature to a "black box" so that 
at some future point I can take actions based on brake temp.

Any clues on reasonably priced IR temp sensors?  EFI content.  This 
device will live on the same USB bus as my ECU and talk to the PC.
