ok, you can read in 3 modes from the aldl connector, right?  160 baud
serial, 8192 baud serial, and the code mode (shorting A and B on the
connector) and the light flashes.  Those nifty code readers, do they
read the codes from the aldl port?  How?  How do you start the data
stream for all of these modes?  Is pin E bidirectional?  Please help!
