Thanks. I suspected that they all operated the same.
As it turns out, I bought something different than the one that came with
it. I went to two Murry's stores and they didn't have anything with the
same connecter (I could change the connecter, but I wouldn't be able to
return it if it didn't happen to work). I found that interesting because
Holley uses standard GM connecters. I went to Ramchargers (a speed
shop), but they didn't have any O2 sensors at all. It was refreshing,
however, to not have to explain that I retrofitted a Jeep Grand Wagoneer
with Holley Projection 4Di. They sent me to Napa. They managed to
identify the sensor, but would have to order one. Finally, I went to
auto zone. "What Car?" "Holley Pro-Jection 4Di." "Honda?" I started
to explain and the guy behind him started laughing. Ah, the joys of
trying to find parts for modified cars... knowwhatimean?
Now for the actually useful information:
The guy who was amused by his fellow employee's befuddlement had him look
up the sensor for a GM truck. It had the right connecter and the right
thread pitch. More to the point, it works fine.
The OEM Holley sensor is part # OS302
The GM sensor is a Bosch 13077.
By the way, I kept the old sensor so that I can salvage the connecter and
use it for the EGOR sensor that I am going to install.
