I would like to thank the people who made this happen.

I have been wanting to make a fuel injection system
for my motorcycle for quite some time. I don't know
much about efi thoery and this site help a lot.

The system I'm planning on building will be based on
an x86 controller running Linux with real-time support.
I have been able to get very controlled output from a
laptop powered by a P75 and 8megs of ram supporting many
network features including telnet, ftp, an X applcation,
and basic TCP/IP communication.

The idea is that not knowing much I'll need to do alot
of measurements while running. And quick system changes
via an X application. Much data will be sampled during
testing and stored on an IDE harddrive. The controller
I have in mind (from Advantech) has a built-in ethernet
controller which allow me to download all data samples
at home without having to touch the system.

The motorcycle is a YAMAHA FJ1200 bored to 1251cc.
The head has been ported the cams replaced and the valves
replaced with 30.5mm from 29mm.

The goal is turbo charging with a dual fuek mix for
drivablity. Standard 93 octane for normal driving conditions
and 112 to 119 octane for nonintercooled presures up to 23psi
over atmosheric. The target power output is over 400bhp, but
I'll probably only have the balls to use about 220 of it.

Current output is 145bhp @ the wheel. measured top speed
with falcon radar, 168mph.

This site is a dream come true for me.
