First the 89 uses 8 injectors, whereas the 86-88 use 9 (cold start).
Usually 89 code considered better, newer more refined.

Yes they are different.  Bins can vary from, tranny types/body style/
engine size/no cylinders/nationality/year.

Most of us just take turns sitting in the corner, just don't be affraid
to ask questions.  BTW, while I usually do it in private I spend lots
of time sitting in numerous different corners.
