Twin injector system?

Hey guys, thanks for the comments and info about my Twin Injector System
idea. I have had many comments, suggestion and ideas put to me on here
and I do appreciate it very much, thanks to all.
Now, it's time for me to show my ignorance.
PIC, Stamp?, and al the other letters in the alphabet are not doing any
good. I know what a resistor and capacitor are, and how they work. Heck,
I even have heard of an IC, even saw one once or twice, and transformers
are easy (a bit heavy sometimes, but easy), but that's about as far as I
go with electronics. (well I did get to solder in a new POT in a control
circuit the other night) <smiles>...
I know I'm no EE or even close to it. I CAN build the mechanical part of
it and make it work. I can even build the variable length intake
runners, but I have no idea how to design the contol circutry. (My two
electronics instructors would not be pleased to hear this at all, so
don't tell'em, ok?)
Is there some way that I could do this by taping two ECM's together and
sticking them behind the seat? I could even solder the wires if you
insist..<Smiles>...that was a bit of forced humor there, but honestly, I
have no idea how or where to start on the electronics end of this. I
don't suppose that it would be so easy as to just plug a laptop into the
ALDL, write a few lines in BASIC, and essentially get it to do what I
want, huh?
or how about just puting the two sets in parrallel with each other, and
a switch to turn them on at a given RPM? say 3000 rpms or so. Would this
be too much current draw on the existing circutry? or maybe tap off of
the + side wire, feed that to a transistor and back out to the 2nd set
of injectors.
Am I over simplifing here and this is TOO KISS, or do I need something
more sophisticated? Are there any existing schematics that could do this
or be altered for it? That much I can do....I just love playing with
that hot screwdriver <smiles>...
OK, so where do I go from here? Sooner or later, I need to get this
Corvette back on the road, one way or the other...but the twin injector
sytem sure sounds like a lot more fun! :)
Thanks to all on the list for tolerating me...I do appreciate it...

NOPE, me either... :(

> Hell no.

Don't feel pregnant, at least you know what you are talking about
<smiles>...PIC? STAMP? HUH?

What? No Corvette, shame on you... :)

OK, you guys can quit laughing now, I'll go crawl back in my hole for a
while... :)
