Again GM, Again IMHO:
Add'em together. bypass air, mount it inna big tube, bottom line you'll
lose resolution, once ya give this up ya might as well go to a MAP,
and at least be accurate for the resolution you have. The spark table
is only going to be 16x16, or whatever. IF ANYONE KNOWS how to
avoid this, I'm listening. WOT is still going to be a percent enrichment,
or AFR, anyway.... The computer is still going to think
x grams of air is going to need x amount of fuel, but now x is x+/x
some other number, so ya better have all the fuel injection constants
and know what they mean and how to use them.
Or keep the 165 (or whatever ECM), and kludge a box to convert MAP to
MAF. This route at least avoids the MAF restriction.
Now if someone knew where in the code to expand the size of the
tables. Better yet, just expand the size of the tables for the MAP ECM..
After reading the archives, for the WOT (high HP) crowd having the
better control of transistions, the MAP wins, at least from what I read.
Several folks have mentioned just redoing the maps, ok, anyone got
a clue about the base pulse width/injectors size locations?.
I'd still like to hear if anyone has the base pulse widths/injector size
locations for a 165, 730 v-8 calmaps...
