fuel lines

Is there any point to running -8 or -10AN fuel lines if the available
TPI rail fittings are only -6AN? Can someone give me a formula for
pressure drop compared to line size and mass volume? This is for the
TPI, and I'm going for about 800 hp when I'm done in a few years and
500hp now. Fuel rate should be around 50 gph... for now...
