here's another fuel for the fire (hope you all dont mind),it's basically
what got me thinking about joining the method,i read an article about
pining of a chrysler, plymouht & dodge mag,it was presented to me as a
great way to put an end to cylinder head crack, and not having a water leak
too,and there's another mag who present an article about twin plugging a
cylinder head but the guy who has done this mod was saying that his twin
plug head have a small water leak,so i did 2+2=4 and thikered about the
advantage & inconvenient about doing such a mod, here's the report:

advantage

1-:increased powerband (according to the mag,so take it as it's worth but
then,if porsche do it,mercedes do it and alfa romeo do it,it could be
worth something to try,i'll try to get the text of the article when the
guy did his dyno test of the motor)

2-:less timing=less detonation in a high compression,turbo or supercharged
motor

3-:cleaner running, this could help when you search for max power in a
emission legality case (irrelevant in a race motor)

4-:higher rev are possible (according to the article, modified pinto motor
even to the max, dont pull beyong 7500rpm and with the mod,the guy was able
tu pull higher, but this could be irrelevant in consideration to US
emission, england have looser emission than USA i think)

inconvenients

1-:may not work on the latest 4.6 from ford (pentroof head, centrally
located spark plug, high enough compression) and all design based on
likewise motor

2-:does anyone would want to do a non tested mod ??

the target motor i think would most benefit from this are those who dont
have good cylinder head (like ohv, open combustion chamber with the spark
plug not located in the center, and having large piston,in fact the larger
the piston, the more travel the flame front have to do,so the likewise
candidate is nearly any motor designed and manufactured by US car
manufacturer),there maybe bigger benefits with boosted app in this case
(Frederic,Andris, are you reading this ??),taking all this into
consideration, what you all think of this,is this a good thread ??
