MSD Ignition

Can anyone comment on the MSD -6 truck version...  the thing cost over 100$
more than the 6A but claims superior reliability.  I want to put this in a
4x4---   but would rather not pay the extra $$.   Any experience with spark box
reliability out there?  Also-  can anyone comment on the MSD-6A  as compared to
Cranes   Hi-7 ??
