list,i tried to reply to this tread yesterday but unfortunately,i was
having mail problem (configuration to be exact),about DOS issue,there's an
upgrade to MS-DOS,it's called DR-DOS and it's available from
http://www.caldera.com/ ,they licensed it from novell so it has a good set
of networking utility (IPX and and TCP/IP packet networking,the method
used for TCP stuff is converting IPX to TCP with a packet driver,don't
know if it's NLM or straight DOS driver tought),also include personnal
netware (both client/server) and is embeddable in rom (they're embeddable
from the day's where digital research where doing the development),if you
need more info about it (or any other OS) mail me (it's been more than 6
month that i do research on the net for OS and if the world measure
knowledge of OS research by the number of headache i got,i can be called a
guru !!)
