 Define "diagnostic socket"

 If you mean MANDATED BullSh*t OBD-II diagnostics, then it's a J1962 
 under the steering column..

 If you mean real live "I want to know what's going on with the car"
 diagnostics.. it's a 20 pin round connex under the hood!
