Crazy Idea, nothings crazy here, practical, well you'll have to
be the judge.
My best advice is grab a Pepsi, Beer, Wine, or Bourbon, and
get comfortable.
Reading the acrhives is a great place to catch up, and just ask
questions.
Quick answer just get an aftermarket computer that is sequential
for a 6, and rewire as necessary.  Problem $$$$.
Second answer get a OEM sequential ECM, and rewire as
necessary.  Problem Time
Third answer design your own, and wire as necessary..  Problem
by the time your done more time and money than both of the
above but it is your own design.
By no means trying to be smart, or cute, jus honest.
  BTW  I was contemplating something about what your talking about
some time ago, and just getting clear on about what I may need to do.
It's been more than a year, but hey I'm a slow learner, but have learned
alot from this group..
