Thanks Rich. Am I right in assuming that because this is measured
'statically' then, in the "real world", I would have to expect to get
something less (?) than this ??

Out of interest, I rang the technical dept. of Bosch here in Oz and,
although quite reluctant, they did confirm this figure (214cc/min at 2.5bar or
37psi).

Now, the reason they were reluctant to divulge this info was (quote):

"We don't like to give out these figures because they are measured using
'special fluids' such as N-Heptane and _not_ petrol. The difference in
viscosity's renders the figures meanlingless for petrol applications"

In a way this seems a bit silly, but I suppose is due to the need to
"standardise" on a certain fluid due to the variability in petrol (ie
leaded, unleaded, etc.).

Since I put the original post on diy_efi, I've obtained another list of
flow rates from a source here in Oz (apparently associated with Haltech)
which indicates that the flow for this injector is 250cc/min @ 280kPa
(40psi). Could the difference be explained by the use of petrol as
opposed to Bosch's "special fluids" ??

Anyone else able to shed some light on this ??
