Mystery PCM - New Info

It is not from a camaro if it has Iron heads. It
does sound like an LT1 because
it has the Cam driven water pump. Camaro, Firebird, and
corvettes have aluminum
heads. Roadmaster, Impala SS, Cop cars, and some Cadillacs
use the iron heads.

The correct 95 camaro PCM is the 8051 we talked
about. The 95 PCM has four
color coded connectors. They are Red, Blue, Grey, and Black.
none are yellow.
Pre 94 LT1's used a different ECM, but I thought the iron
heads came out in 94.
Are you sure the engine and ECM are from the same car?

		Here is the new info.

I cannot guarantee the engine came from the same car as the
PCM.

The yellow connectors are actually the sockets on the PCM, not the
connectors on the harness. I do not yet have the short engine harness. But
each socket while shaped generally the same is keyed to a particular plug
(you cuould not plug #1 connector into #2 socket...)

The engine does not support an engine drive fan.

I cannot get access to the right front of the engine because f the way it is
sitting on the hoist. But the other numbers on the block are: (some of
these are best guesses)
Drivers Side Rear: GM 4388G
		       F102
Drivers Side Mid Block: 588
Passenger Side Mid Block: 588
Drivers Side Front: G-8
		     327

Does anyone know if there is a source at GM I can call to identify what it
is I have?
