Gee, it would be too bad if the only answer he got was from a fellow
eXav guy!
If there is a gap in the system that is NOT ionized, there will be no
current flow at 80 volts. If it is ionized, I would suspect it would
significantly affect the current flow, as the gap would be in air only.
With no fuel, no carbon, etc, the ionization voltage would just about
HAVE to be different, and the current along with it.
