I'll send you a picture of my 2400 lb CJ5 with a 482 BBC and Powerglide running
4.3 sec @ 85 MPH in 300 feet in sand.... with 3.73 in the front and 4.27 in the
back..... with my wife driving. (it had big/small tires). It also ran 6.50s @
110+ in the 1/8 on asphalt in 4wd... hit neutral at the end and it would coast
for ever... better than my Bronco with 3.73/3.75 and equal sized tires... You had
to run +6 lbs air in the front to equalize it.
