Prom swap for 1226870 F- to Y-Body

Hello, I am new to this list, ( Heard about it from one of the F-body
lists.) I am swapping a 350 for my tired old 305TPI in my '85 Trans-Am. In
the 85 model year the f-bodies were not available with the 350 engine. The F
and Y(corvette) bodies used the same ECU (1226870). would it be beneficial
to get a prom from the 85 'vette to put in my firebird? or will the stock
prom handle the job well? I have bought new 24# injectors from Summit.  By
the way, this is not my real email address, I'm using my wife's email as
mine only "receives" when connected from home (long story...) so any
