Interesting. The older rail-type systems I've worked with contain a
pressure regulator on the rail which maintains a constant pressure
across the injectors. (As manifold vac changes, the fuel pressure would
change too).
Do these self-regulated tank pumps perform this function or does the ecu
compensate via pulse-width, etc? Are these pumps fixed or variable
pressure? If variable, what controls it?
