More like 3 psi at 7K feet and 4 or 4.5 psi at 10--11K feet, at least when
you are on the ground at that elevation, and do not see so much of the
adiabatic lapse in temperature.

(Home is at 7250 msl, and I drive regularly at up to 12 K. Been there,
fought with that.)
