Another .02--- I agree and keep the heat in the engine where it belongs. My 406
makes 430 HP and the side pipes are within 1" of the foot boxes and 1/2" of the
body and it doesn't get hot enough to scorch the paint..... entire exhaust and
headers HPC coated inside and out and the heads and pistone are ceramic coated. I
ran 75 mph for four hours and you could still touch the floor whith your hand, it
was only warm.
