  For what it is worth  --- The halogen street lights also 'flicker'. And the 
TDC marking line may be "stopped" to display its self at two diameterically 
oposite places when the RPM is 3,600 . 2,400 RPM will illuminate the marking 
in three places, 120 degrees apart.
