Rough value estimate ( from 1992)- 1957 Custom Royal 2 dr HT in #1 shape
is $17,000 US. D500 adds 30%, for a rough value of just over 22 grand.
In #4 condition its still worth over $4500 US. Only convertibles of any
year will fetch a higher price, and the '57 is a DEFINITE colector car.
This is about as rare as the '57 Plymouth Fury 318 2X4 (290 HP) which is
the rarest, or at least most collectable Plymouth from the 40s to the
60s.
Definitely worth restoring RIGHT!!!!
