Monitoring knock sensor signals?

I have a Jap import (to the UK where I live)Supra Mk IV twin turbo 
(1994).I'd like to monitor signals from the knock sensor,to know when 
a retard signal or whatever it tells the ECU to do,is occurring. 
Feasible ? Any ideas how ?
