You get 110 VDC only, and cannot charge the battery at the same time -
sorry. To get 110 VAC and still charge the battery you need an inverter.
I've got one in my van for my computer, and one I can put in the van for
power tool use - 1500 VA so it REALLY makes the alternator work at full
load.
