The high resolution is a 360 pulse per cam rotation signal, while the low
resolution pulse is a eight pulse per cam revolution signal. The high
resolution is a simple square wave, with identical on/off duty, while the
low resolution has different on times for each pulse (again, square),
telling the PCM which cylinder is currently being fired.
