This in reponse to the suggestion for a honda engine, The B16A1 (160hp) goes for
about $1100(engine,tranny,ecu,and harness), B18C1(176hp) can be found for around
$2200-2500, The JDM B18C5 (210hp) goes for about $5,000(entire front clip) there
is also a B16B(185hp) which is pretty rare but goes for about the same or more
than the B18C5. They are all good engines, since alot of kids with hondas are
going hybrid the prices have dropped plenty for the engines, also there are many
parts available. With some civic type R cams, good head work, bolt ons, good
tuning, and bumping up the compression some you can get plenty more power out of
these engines. For more info on the engines check out the Hybrid page
http://hybrid.honda-perf.org I may seem a little pro honda but thats cause I own a
crx so I tend to be.

good luck,
Serg
