No real use for tuning, though, too coarse resolution - need a scan tool to do that well.

Though you can cascade two, three, or four for more resolution if you
must.  I'd offer a schematic but its been ages...  I think Radio
Shack's "Electronics Experimenter" book (orange cover) has a cascaded
3914 schematic in there.
