Used to have a shop in Hawaii. Built a lot of VW street
motors. Sold one guy a long block - Few days later he shows 
up in his bug, with an accomplice - Asks if he can borrow a
timing light. Sure...  Shortly thereafter he's honking up & 
down the street, accomplice perched on rear bumper, holding 
on to the fan housing with one hand and the timing light with
the other...
Darwin Award stuff most places, just another day in Hawaii.
