Ford Escort GT

Through a series of events I ended up with a bunch of EFI stuff. 
What I have is throttlebody, injectors, distributor and wiring harness 
form a 1979 Ford Escort GT. Note: no ECU.

What I hope to do is use these components to build a FI system 
for an early Chrysler V8 (58 Fury 318, Poly). 

Are there any 'pit falls' I should be aware of? ie: lack of, or non-
programmable ECUs, Other?
