Bosch ECM circuit mods (again)

Sorry for repeating myself, mail got lost. So...
Does anyone know if it is possible to modify, or get information on how to
modify, a Bosch LE-jetronic ECM (analogue).  I have a basic diagram with
component numbers & values, but don't know which ones change which
variables.  I am thinking along the lines of an early "programmable"
(screwdriver) after-market unit and it's limited settings.
