If you pick a Japanese bike engine, high-rpm would be something between 10
and 15'000 rpm. My own car turbo engine's runs up to 8000 rpm. I'm aware of
a 285hp 2L NA engine running up to 9000 rpm. To answer your question, I'd
say that 8000 and up is "high rpm". What is your definition?
