Probably. I am assuming you have a non USA version of the car. In the mid
80s, European cars were not requiring Lambda sensors and on US cars, they
were mandatory. The difference between my 84 Porsche Motronic box (with
Lambda) and the European boxes (without Lambda) is just the ROM. The
hardware is the same.

Do a little research and you will probably find the same with the
LE-Jetronic. Change the ROM out for a US ROM and that may be all you need to
do.
