Maybe you should check the heating circuit, maybe a bad connector or
something is causing the problem. Or if you run a very rich mixture the
Bosch sensors will temporarily act strange. But my beats are that the heater
is not working.

It is not the NTK UEGO sensor he is referring too, he meant a ordinary
narrow band sensor. The EMS can be used with that too, It can be changed
under the setup tab in the Windows software. I don't know where to change it
with the handheld unit.
