For exactly what Jeff said:

I may still have the factory ECU do the IAC. I will have new sensors for
water temp, air temp, and map for the speedpro. These sensors are not too
expensive, so I don't mind duplicating them.

It sounds like bank-to-bank would work fine in my setup. What I would
possibly do is get bank-to-bank fuel injection setup first, with factory ECU
doing everything else. This way the install is simplified, just hookup the
basics: air temp, water temp, map, tps, rpm, and injectors and get fuel
injection working. Once I'm comfortable with that, move over the ignition
(get crank and cam sensors setup for DIS).

One note about my TPS. It does send 0-5v, but I beleive some people have
had trouble using it in a stand-alone ECU setup. I believe the problem lies
in driving the sensor, not getting a signal from it. That's another reason
I want to leave the stock ECU in place, so it can properly control/feed the
TPS, while I just tap its output signal.

One more question, when you buy a speedpro with "ECU only" option, do you
get any sort of harness at all? All I need is connector with wires to
splice to, not the full customized harness. Anyone know?

Thanks for all the reponses,

Andrew
