TIMING CHIP QUESTION

I ran across an I/C that took pulses from an inductive pickup on a toothed
wheel with the sync missing tooth and outputted a pulse when the missing
tooth passed. This was some time ago.

I have lost the info, can anyone provide the I/C number??
