Need Serial Comm port help!!!

I think that it could be the same problem for Steve, the probably only uses
a 0v-12v swing when running on batteries, but when it is connected to ac the
full (-12v)-12v voltage is used.

Steve, have you tried connecting to the accel when the laptop is ac powered?
