	That's been done before.  Paxton used a belt drive like that on some 50's
era cars.  Pretty complicated, but sounds workable.  You might even be able
to use miniature planetary transmissions instead - I'm not sure what
advantage that would have, but it might be able to transmit more power to
the blower.
	Alternately, you could use twin Roots blowers.  Mostly, that's been done
on oddball show cars, but there are some times it makes sense on a street
or race car.  Here's one site with a Thunderbird using two Eaton screw-type
superchargers off Super Coupes on a 351W:

	The owner did it to save money, apparently - you can get Eaton
superchargers used in a junkyard, and so the cost was less than an
aftermarket blower kit.  The results are pretty impressive, too - over 650
lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels!
