What uP for VW TDI ECU?

I'm trying to work out what microprocessor is used on a VW TDI
engine's ECU for the years 1997 to 1998. 

Bosch ECU part numbers:

	0 281 001 555
	0 281 001 556
	0 281 001 720

Inscription on the microprocessor:

	N  S 836AG
	SCL 4410-V4
	B58910
	GAD 35

	9552AD
	SCL 4410-V4
	B58553
	GAD 35

Anyone seen a URL with more info on these units, or a link to
a disassembler for the uP, or info on the checksum routines
used on the ROMs (two x 28F010 flash PROMs)?
