Hey All,
IMHO, I think there would be enough "pop" ... Remember that half the 
reason we have so much trouble starting cars is because of the amount of 
friction just to get the thing moving around... so you close the right 
values on the cylinder ready to "pop", release all the other values, 
(thus no compression... sorta get the thing moving... and occasionally 
"pop" other cylinders until you get the thing moving.
I think one "pop", even with hardly any compression, would still give 
alot of force.. and without cam friction, no start motor friction etc... 
I reckon it should be alright. Even with today's technology, people are 
modifying engines without water pumps just to retain more power on the 
crankshaft. NEWAY... Better stop dreaming and get back to earth!
