eprom editing basics...

Dear Espen,
Having read your previous posts on this subject( I hope I was paying enough
attention) I think that the electromotive tec-ii works slightly different
than you believe. The 27c64 eprom can only be erased with ultraviolet
light(if it has a quartz window) so the tec-ii must have another
emory( should be an eeprom- this would probably be a 28fxxx or 29fxxx) to
store the calibration data. I believe that the chip only holds the working
code and not the data because I know that this is the chip to be changed
when you want to install a new software version( pafz ---> super blend for
example). If I am wrong and the chip your are talking about holds the data,
then I will be very happy because I will be able to use my emulator to tune
the tec-ii on the fly as you want.
For reading the data from a tec-ii if you have lost the calibration file you
should contact Electromotive.
