Blower & GM ECM

I am working on putting a blower onto my car (Paxton, or ATI) & would like
to get yalls input on it. I seem to recall that there was someone on one of
these two lists that has a Malibu (or some other Large GM) that went from NA
to Turbo. when he did he took his 7730 (what I have) & used the Sy/Ty prom,
because it knows how to deal with a 2 bar MAP sensor.

>From our discussion of FMU's & how they work & don't work, along with
getting the best performance out of a blower car this seems to me the best
way to address it (shy of an aftermarket setup).

My question is this. does this sound like the most logical way to go about
dealing with the extra issues that a blower car has? is there another CPU
or prom image that would be a better choice? I would like to stick with SD
so that eliminates all the GN/TType choices & brings it I think down to the
Sy/Ty prom.

I seem to recall that there were some questions/discussion on one of these
two lists about this same conversion & there was some talk about changing
pin outs on the ECM. does anyone have this persons web address (I had it &
thought I saved the link but no luck). are there any others out there that
have done this conversion/adaptation?

I noticed that tuner cat supports the $58 Sy/Ty prom, I guess that I am
going to have to shoot a line to Terry & see if GMEPro does as well (if he
does not drop in & respond).

thanks in advance for all the help.
