Reading an 8051

I am trying to read a BOSCH ML3.1 code from an 8051. I am using an EMP10 and
tried using an 8751 as the programmed device (the EPROM version of the
8051). I am getting repeatable reads but it appears to be garbage. The 8051
is from 1985 and should precede any safeguards against reading the internal
ROM.

Any trick or tricks I should try? Or is it not doable?
