Thanks Lyndon, luckily they are not mine, but those are bone stock from
the factory. Scary for less than 10,000 miles ! Maybe the color is from
the oxygenated fuel we have here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It's
always been 93 octane though.

You've got the silver balls of pre-death LEAN--and another bad thing
about
running plats is that they tend to ignite just a little easier than they
should. The
"pink" glaze has me going--you running purple fuel 87
or something ?? You're running a very hot mixture, the
balls are imbedded in the metal. Just my thoughts...
