Effectiveness of RAM induction?

 but your assumptions are correct. 1) not a lot of effect until well over 150mph

Your engine is a displacement pump, that 'sucks' air in, reducing the pressure 
losses,
 friction and disturbance losses etc.(k/a2) is removing losses rather than adding 
flow, but the
same result!

(This will change with air pressure and temp but has little effect)
