Really need to put a pressure guage in the exhaust before the turbo and see
exactly what pressure it's going too. Believe me, 21psi intake manifold
pressure and 19 psi exhaust pressure is attainable in a daily driver Buick
on 93 octane pump gas. Got to put slicks on it to hope to hook it up under
55 mph. Corky's book is real generic kinda like MacInnes book was. When you
talk about turbo's, it will be generic until you nail down the
specifications. And then you can measure what happens but still not
neccessarily predict with a tremendous degree of accuracy what will happen.
Cause amazingly simple things can have big effects in a turbo system and not
have the same effect in a blower or normally aspriated system. Corky didn't
tell all in the first book, so he would be able to do a sequel which is due
out shortly :-) Mark
