The car I saw with hydraulics sure did do well in the water manouverablility
tho. Its too bad they are so dang inefficient(something like 70%?). And it
doesn't help that the new "10 HP" Briggs motor actually puts out ~7.2 HP.
There's no power to waste.

It's a great idea, but not very efficient. That's the new big thing in
commercial lawn equipment. All those new commercial mowers are hydraulic
drive. I've seen it used in a SAE Mini Baja car, and it just wasn't fast
enough. they are stuck with a 10 hp motor and the power loss was too great.
