GM coil packs

Hello,

I have a set of GM F-Body 3.4 V6 coil packs that I would like to use for =
a DIS project.  I was looking to use the MC3334 ingition controller chip =
from Motorola, but it seems they have been discontinued, and I can not =
find a source for them.  So I was wondering about the stock GM ignition =
coil drivers.  Do these just take a 5V input from the ECU?  If they do, =
I will simply use the stock ignition controller to drive the coils.
