Rotaries: was Buick V6

Well, I once bought a bunch of the external bits from a 12A off of
ebay. It included the water pump and housing, flywheel, engine
mounting bracket, crank pulley, AC bracket, oil filter adapter, the
dowel pins, and a bunch of miscellaneous bolts, and that stuff alone
weighed 90 lbs. The stock cast iron exhaust manifold probably weighs
15-20 lbs. all by itself (which was not in my 90# package). Factory
flywheels range from 30# (!)(79-80 12A) to 20# (93-95 13B-REW).
I happen to have a 12A shortblock on a stand at home at the moment. I
suppose I could weigh it. May do it just out of curiosity.
