Ok, so the cal resistor is located in the connector?  Then what is the 
silver crimped cylinder on the wires in this picture:

thought that's where the resistor was located.

Also, can the resistor be moved from the sensor to the board, or is it just 
better to run all 7 wires out to the sensor?
